How do I cope with my 18 years. daughter, aged 21 years in bed. old boyfriend? (He says he has no problem)
It lies on almost everything – what he did for fun, what he has done in school, the cars he has owned, deductions on their tax filing, etc. He lived with us for 6 months so he could save money to return to college and asked of our advice (that's how we discovered some of his lies). Instead of saving money, he breathed on most all eating outside while on the job, buying luxuries frivalous, cell phone bills. NEVER TAKE our daughter to a actual date. Now he is back to college on a loan taking hours minimum, does not work, the car is down. Our daughter attends college and works. If they go out on a date, she pays for everything. We said how we feel about him, but that is his choice to view. We felt in now she would have understood what a liar he is and slippers and ended the relationship. It is incredibly Kind Hearted and feels he is the way it is because of lack of parenting and it will change. What can we do?
Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do. It is the age legal and must take its own decision. Hopefully it will wake up and see the light and end up being tired of being walked on.
