Why hasn't the U.S. has collapsed and become a third world counry yet?
I am 31 years old, and since I can remember, the new listen to parents, people, debates, etc. I always heard the United States is close to collapse because of problems econimic, domination Soviet presidents bad, corrupt politicians, lack of money, high taxes, workers laid off, poor education system, Crime, drugs, etc. etc. But it hasn't happened yet, why not? I base this on my personal perspective of my own life, people I know and the area I live in (Los Angeles). I have visited many countries around the world, and yet seem to have purchasing power, even with a falling dollar I see "poverty stricken" people on HBO in the United States have at home, people in LA driving luxury cars as if they give style, immigrants come here in droves for a better life, major technological advances Companys various American, I could go. So what gives? When this collapse will happen? Am I wrong to think the U.S. is still the best country in the world? And probably will for a long time?
I now live outside United States and see what happens in the new year. It will strike many Americans that President Bush and the fundamentalist Christians have done for all of us Americans. Believe me, nobody in the world we love Americans, but some people in the United States live in a fantastic country and we believe that Not true, it is very real. Countries around the world that have trade agreements with the United States is to cancel. Not to go to the United States and this will destroy the U.S. tourism industry. The U.S. dollar is slowly becoming worthless. Banks in the United States owes billions of dollars external debt and they have stopped lending money for investments or loans. Many Americans are in credit and mortgage debt Free trade and tourism and high prices of gasoline that comes from high unemployment and homelessness. Only costs are keeping the U.S. recession full what happens after Christmas, New Year, from stopping and spending bills must be paid. It is not difficult to solve.
